The Spikes program offers a skills assessment testing program for our participants.  The teams participating this season are: 12U Pasqualini, 12U Congoran, 13U Hubble, 13U Schilf, 13U Spika, 14U Salerno, 16U Showcase, 16U Marino, 16U Holloway, 18U Freveletti and 18U Showcase.

Event Dates:  October 10th & 11th

Event Location:  WAA Sports Center (2323 Liberty Street in Aurora)

Event Times:  4pm – 9pm  *Please arrive around 15 minutes before your scheduled start time.  Plan to stay the full 2.5 hours.

Tuesday, October 10th Schedule

• Catchers – 4:00pm – 6:30pm
• Pitchers – 6:30pm – 9:00pm

Wednesday, October 11th Schedule

• Infielders – 4:00pm – 6:30pm
• Outfielders – 6:30pm – 9:00pm

Each player will be tested in the following categories…

Athletic:

• 20 yard dash (home to first)
• 5-10-5 Shuttle
• Broad Jump
• Vertical Jump (with Vertec machine)

Skill:

• Throwing Speed
• Batting (key exit speed)
• Line drive consistency
• Catcher pop time (with laser)

Built into the scheduled times will be:
