2017 Spikes College Recruiting Video
WAA has secured Fred Harms, a professional videographer, and owner of EXTRAORDINARY DEMOS in Naperville, to film and produce individual college recruitment videos highlighting player skills.
The player recruiting videos will be filmed at 2323 Liberty Street in Aurora (WAA office facility) on Monday, February 20th from 9:00am until 4:00pm. Players must pre-register.
The video will include a player interview, running, positional play and hitting. Players will move through stations and should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their time with any necessary equipment. Please wear a Spikes Boombah uniform. NO cleats allowed.
Pitchers and Catchers should coordinate and work together if at all possible.
If your player is considering playing fast pitch softball at the college level, this is an excellent opportunity to begin the process. Having a short, simple and well-choreographed player highlights video is a necessary recruiting tool. Your completed video can be posted on YouTube and/or sent directly to coaches via link or DVD.
We are offering this opportunity to 14U, 15U, 16U and 18U teams only.
Registration will be accepted on a first come first serve basis.
The video fee of $225 player session includes professional taping, editing, a target video length of 3-4 minutes and a DVD. Videos delivery is targeted for mid March. Due to the limited number of slots available (20 participants), all participants must be paid in full at time of registration. There must be a minimum of 8 players registered.
